Principles of Yoga 12/6 ish

Hi, Just ended a long day with night sky tied up with thunder bolts and heavy warm down pour. Stopped just in time to billy goat back to our cabins with wet sandals. Today was filled with anatomy lesson and more mind blowing was the principals of yoga. Just wanted to share they are all food for thought.

First principle: Practice non-violence or also known as  practice loving kindness to self and others.
2nd Principle Commit to the truth which includes right speech
       Right Speech asks
Does it need to be said
Does it need to be said by me
Does it need to be said at this time
Does it need to be said in this way
       These things all require practice.
3rd Principal Be in the Now, Present  LISTEN
Things that can lead to suffering can include working on assumptions, working from false beliefs, desire, aversion,  ambition, aggression, weakness, laziness, anger, fear
What is the path to love?
4th We are all one
5th Yoga is the resolution of consciousness ( in other words it is about being conscious in life and in practice)
Through yoga you can become aware of the interdependence of all things

Practice of Yoga
-fosters sense of oneness
-fosters presence
-become aware of consequences
-with consistent practice comes consistent presence
